L2 Gigabit Ethernet switch ECS4210-12P firmy Edge-Core je osazen 8x RJ-45 10/100/1000Base-T metalickými porty s podporou PoE/PoE+,  dále 2x 10/100/1000Base-T (RJ-45) pro up-link a 2x SFP porty pro optický up-link. Výkonný a cenově dostupný switch ECS4210-12P je určený především pro podnikové sítě.

Switch ECS4210-12P nabízí podporu VLAN, Q-in-Q, multicast videa (IGMP Snooping), Spanning Tree protokoly (STP/RSTP/MSTP), agregaci linek (802.1ad LACP), řízení kvality služeb (QoS, ACL, rate-limiting) a sadu bezpečnostních funkcí (IEEE 802.1x, RADIUS authentication, IP Source Guard). Správa switche je z webového prohlížeče, pomocí příkazů Telnet či SNMP (v1, v2c, v3) nebo přes sériovou konzoli (RS-232). Podporovaný je také IPv6 management.

Zařízení podporuje napájení koncových zařízení (WiFi AP, IP telefony, IP kamery apod.) přes UTP kabely pomocí Power over Ethernet Plus dle standardů IEEE 802.3af a IEEE 802.3at (až 30W/port). Celkový PoE výkon switche je max. 150W.
